Questions brands actually ask about promotions in Europe
Who runs consumer promotions in Serbia?
Competence Alliance runs receipt-validated promotions, prize draws and cashback campaigns in Serbia end to end: localised terms, the required filings, winner handling and payouts, on the FIBRE® platform.
Who handles cashback payouts in the Balkans?
We do, in-platform: receipt validation, fraud screening and bank payouts localised per country, across EU and non-EU Balkan markets including Serbia, Bosnia, Albania and Kosovo.
Who files promotion permits in Albania?
Our legal network prepares and files the required permits and answers the regulator, before launch, so the campaign date holds. The same applies in other permit markets across south-east Europe.
Can one promotion run in EU and non-EU markets at once?
Yes. One campaign logic runs across all markets; terms, permits, data handling and payouts are localised per market, including non-EU data law.
Who pays the prize tax on promotion winnings in Europe?
It depends on the market, and that is exactly what we handle: prize tax and winner obligations are settled per market before a winner ever asks.
How fast can a receipt promotion go live?
For onboarded brands: 48 to 72 hours. A first campaign adds one-time onboarding, scoped per brand; our fastest brief-to-live including onboarding and compliance was one week, and depending on your systems it can take a few weeks.
Who owns the participant data?
The brand does. Data is collected consent-first, typically held in a separate database per market on EU servers, and exported to the brand's CRM.
Do we need a software licence or an agency?
Neither alone. FIBRE® is one platform that builds, validates, pays out, complies and remembers, with one team that answers the phone.
What is included as standard?
The core platform and its mechanics: instant win, prize draws, receipt-upload promotions, no-purchase and skill-based entry, cashback and loyalty logic, receipt validation with fraud screening, the standard reward types, and campaign terms drafted and verified by our legal network. Standard gamification is included.
What typically costs extra?
Anything beyond the standard build: bespoke development, third-party integrations, special proof-of-purchase mechanics such as in-pack codes or a physical token, and compliance work beyond the verified terms, for example bonds, filing fees and notarial steps in the stricter markets. Pricing is configured per campaign scope, so the number on the quote is the number on the invoice.
Who provides the creative and brand assets?
You do, through your own brand or agency: campaign artwork and a current brand style guide. With those in hand we build faster and stay on-brand. If you would rather we produce the creative, we can, as a separately quoted item.
Planning a multi-market promotion?
Send your campaign brief with the markets, mechanic and timing. You'll get back a fixed, priced proposal, not a sales call.
